Our products are created in the garden of our imagination.
- This is where our designs come from, as poetically described by our designer. His experience includes creating Luna Moth LLC Glass Christmas Ornaments, a company closed due to market conditions in 2008. Later, stints developing successfully new technology registered under EU/US utility patent.
- Since, due to the 2006 US Supreme Court eBay and subsequent rulings, US patents lost value, he has stopped (As many others) from submitting patent applications to USPTO. Currently focusing instead on paper product design.
- The US Supreme Court, in its ruling, allowed big companies to copy products/technologies developed by individuals and startups without consent and compensation, in essence, legalizing theft and rendering small entities’ own US patents obsolete and of no value.
- To cement the situation, the 2011 American Invention Act introduced a quasi-administrative court. Known as PTAB or “Patent Death Squad”, invalidating as officially disclosed 84% of patents issued by the USPTO.
- In 2012-14, the Supreme Court announced a ban on patents in certain technologies under the disguise of a so-called. “Judicial exceptions ” Alice, 2014) and Mayo (2012). For the same developments, you may have patents anywhere abroad. Not in the US.
- In 2015, the Supreme Court attempted to block US inventors’ property rights and limit the use of judicial injunctions to stop theft by big companies, announcing that US Patents do not constitute Personal Property but are merely a franchise.
- All this anti-patent effort is powered by the influence of Big Tech to stop any possible competition. No inventor or startup is able to afford millions of dollars and years in US courts to defend its property rights against Big Money theft.
- Because of that. A 2023 report by the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) found that China leads the United States in the research of 37 out of 44 critical and emerging technologies, including areas such as artificial intelligence, defense, energy, and biotechnology.
